my level review
for my level i have included things such as boxes that move up and down buttons like the original game i have made things clear and simple i have added features such as polls that maneuver doors and buttons which open the doors this gives the game mechanics similar to the 3d version but my game will be in 2d using similar vectors as the original game but will have tweaked features meaning that not everything will be the same but will evade copyright. i have included sliding platforms that move within the game this helps my character move about and this creates the illusion of a puzzle game although its not like the original in style of 3d it incorporates in the original 3d assets used, all parts of the mechanics work in there own way and are necessary of part of my levels and designs used i have gems which are collected in my game and when you collect all gems you move onto the next level of the game this is an advantage in some respect as it means that you don't have to give loads and loads of detail of doors which go onto levels instead you have gems so you complete levels it also made the design processes easier to develop and easier for people to pass levels. concerns of this project would be how i would fit certain features into the game and how some mechanicals may work as its in 2d if i was i was to improve on this i would give an ellement of suprise to the game so i would have added characters that follow you.

On opening flash i draw my images and used tools such as brush tools, import tools, drawing tools,line tool, curve tools, timeline layer tools insert tool debug play tool, layer hides , selection deletes. colour palete, gradiant tools, fill tool, when creating my images to create the first scene i used a picture off the internet and created a classic motion tween between frames per second (fps).
I moved this picture to give an effect of moving in a cycle by using keys on the keyboard moving left.
When making the next scene of the elavator i gave a under water background which i imported it to the stage and motion tweened it so that it moves slightly up and down and put the elevator coming from the top down words asif it gives the illusion of a moving object when creating an object you have to convert it as a symbol so that it moves as an whole and attaches its warp points.
all these things make the motion of the camera move and by the end of the slides to make it move it moves off the main play of the stage to give the affect of moving away.
when actually converting an object you use the modify tool to group objects converting to key frames or blank frames and align the objects so that it has the feel of being in align.
I used the fill tool to fill in with colour the object i was creating like the floating on the water object i put colour into each section and put alternative cities on it with the text tool
when i designed my storyboard for this project alternative cities i came up with a travel scene of going under water and traveling down a barrel type landscape a alternative space which goes under water to give the effect or a simulator of sorts of going down on to a platform.
(i also used my own created sound from audacity the sounds i used came from the internet where by i edited to evade copyright laws and used tools like trim tools, amplify and studio fade outs,)
If i was to do this project again i would think about adding more key frames and objects as even tho longer than 5 seconds which i am happy with i found it fun to create and would like to add more, disadvantages about this project would be that i hadn't actually used this software in a while and i relearn it and now i am fine with it
advantages would be that it all flows smooth and that i am happy that it has two camera views and that i could change the view of how flash was set up so instead of it being essentials i used classic so that it was easier to import my (AIFF file type) music file which was encoded by using adobe media encoder which made it easier to import file types.
As you can see from the above image this is the encoded file format which was encoded from and (mp3) to a (AIFF) by converting the file formats
as you can see these are some of the main essential tools that have been used to create this project
as you can see ive also used a mind map to show where my inspirations and my own design complexions where used in my flash project alternative cities i feel that ive used alot of different unusual designs in my own work.

how i edited a picture in photo shop
i used adjustments such as exposure layers hue and saturation curves and photo filter and Chanel mixers and contrasts to give a sense a life even in the darkest of places i like adding effects i feel its one of my strongest strengths everyday i learn new things and i change the way i think about inventions everyday. - light and dark contrasting with blues and purples and with lights shining from above.

in this project i use a new software called adobe after effects where by i made this title as it really was boring never the less i made this doing the task my teacher set me using key frames and colours and modifing the text to give a sense of in and out sequenceses

my bear work
this project was an okay project i changed the frame rate to 12fps then changed the scene to a movie clip symbol imported to the stage and selected the trace layer and traced each individual bear for each added keyframe set i used selects and pencil tools to do this what didn't go well was that i didn't have time to complete it as i had an assessment in the morning if i was to improve i would spend my own quality time to do this project and further study the way to make.
